Hi there! Our Frenchie's name is Nugget too! Just curious, how'd you come up with the name? My husband and I were talking about names on the drive home one night and we stopped at Wendy's for some chicken nuggets. The word seemed to fit a French Bulldog. When people find out his name, we always get some kind of reaction. Usually a laugh. We love it, its so fitting for our pup. Anyways... just wanted to say Hello!
Well, Picchu was an only child for 7 yrs before we got Gerard. I was a little apprehensive because Picchu got attacked while on a walk one day by a dog who was off his lead and has been a little dog aggressive (mostly out of fear) since then. But he took to Gerard really well and as it turned out, Gerard is definitely the "alpha" dog. Unfortunately, Picchu came down with Cushing's Disease and is in really bad shape. We're trying to make him as comfortable as possible, but he's not doing well. The good thing about Frenchies is that they're fine by themselves and love company also! I can't imagine living without one! (We had Irish, English and Gordon Setters before this. . .great dogs also, but too much grooming!) Good luck if you purchase another!
Just happened across your photos and they are adorable! We have two bully boys, Macho Picchu and Gerard Depardewclaw. But both have the last name Papador (was Papadopoulos). Do I recognize a fellow Greek?!
How cute is that..So do you get lots of comments on what kind of dog is that? So on and so forth? Love the spidy costume..I need to get Hooligan a superman costume...
How adorable is that..scrubs..I use to work in an Ortho clinic and still wear mine around the house to clean...Just like jammies..I wish I could sew...I would make Hooligan some stuff...Thanks for sharing!
Hey, I read your comment on Charleen's page. Pugs led me to Frenchies as well. A guy I dated a while back had a fawn Pug that I was so in love with so I started searching through breeders and rescue groups for one of my own. I eventually found one that was 1/2 Pug & 1/2 Frenchie and immediately went to read up on Frenchies. Everything I learned changed my mind completely and I began my crazed search for a Frenchie until I found Prince. :)
