New Frenchie

Hi everyone,

I am new here... I just got a 4 month old frenchie friday night! HIs name is quincy. I livein the philadelphia area and was wondering if anyone could recommend a veterinarain preferably who is interested in holistic medicine. I also will be leaving him tomorow for the first time when i go to work. My boyfriend is coming to walk him in the afternoon. he has has been wonderful overnight. I have a gated area for him with a pop up crate and a bed. And the few times I have left for an hour or 2 he has been very quiet when I got home. Of course he was still adjusting today he has been sad and crying if I put him in there to do things around the house... any suggestions?

good luck with your new frenchie i had no problems training my male. so easy to potty train lots of praise and he was so proud that he made me happy, on the other hand almost two months till i was able to fully trust our baby girl zoey, however i have had very good luck with my two frenchies and i hope the same for you they are so smart and any command i give them make them want to please me more than the last trick we did. on potty training i was able to bring my pups to work and i took them out every hour the first couple of days then every two hours and so on after the first week my boy was potty trained, little more work for my girl now both can make it 6/8 hours with no problems. i hope you have the same luck with your little man. i hear create training is great if you to leave them for long times and don't want to deal will a mess but i have never tried it since i bring my pups to work with me (family buisness) but people swear by it. be patient and remember frenchies are stubborn at times but well worth it to have the happy little clowns around.
