How many Frenchies do you own:: Two who own me.

Names of your Frenchies and their descriptions:: Mr. Nubbins (6 years) and Ms. Wiggles (less than a year)

What do you love most about Frenchies:: I am not sure I could have imagined such wonderful animals who have so many wonderful traits, but if I had to pick one, it's their ability to read your mood and act accordingly. Feeling a bit down? They will nuzzle up and give you a smooch. Happy? They are bolting for the toy basket to bring you a way to express it.

I was a bit hesitant to get another pup since going through the training stages can be a bit trying. Mr. Nubbins was such a quick learner (he was ringing a bell by the back door after one weekend of training at a very young wobbly age) I figured it would not be that bad if I got another... of course Ms. Wiggles proved just how bad it can be and is just now after a year old realizing outside is the place to go.

Regardless, it is twice as much fun having two of them. They compliment each other very well but are both still very much people oriented.

He makes a little gravely pur when he is getting good rubbins and a little grunting sound when he see's somebody he likes (which they sometimes interpret as a growl, lol). He also religiously sings while I am in the shower, howling the entire time until I get out while Ms. Wiggles does her best to go through my wallet if she can get to it (she chews on the leather). Ms. Wiggles makes all sorts of grunts, gurgles, chortles and even resorts to barking at me if I am not giving her enough attention.

I think my dog thinks he is a real boy...LOL..He makes these grunt noises and even sometimes at night when he is cold or has an acid reflux prob....It's weird that I know what he wants...

Mr. Nubbin's is a bit slower and is indeed "set in his ways", but Ms. Wiggles has been a wonderful addition to the household. At first Nubbs would get up and move if Ms. Wiggles laid down next to him (she is a cuddler and he is not), but now they are two peas in a pod. They often play keepaway and tugowar and keep each other entertained for when I cannot. We are all pretty darned happy. Delete Comment
