As far as agility training:
You can start some foundation training very young - going through tunnels & chutes is a great start & fun for puppies. Basic obedience should be your priority now - you'll be glad later when they listen better! I would recommend no jumping until they are at least 9 months - and only minimal height (3-6 inches) until they are over one year. The potential of damaging growth plates is too high to do much before then. I would ask your vet before starting anything (I had a radiographic series done of Brutus' back, hips and legs to make sure there were no major abnormalities that would make injury too likely). If you are really eager to start them young, you can use jump standards as gates (no jump bar between the uprights, just the support pole on the ground), get the boys to have fun following you around through them, then eventually following your verbal commands "over" or "jump" as you direct once they start to get the idea. Always make it fun - Frenchies get bored quickly if it seems to dull!! Good luck & have fun!!
