Oz is 15 weeks old. He is a Fawn pied tri colored. He has some allergies that we are still trying to eliminate. He is a healthy and stalky boy who loves to eat.
Thank you! He's certainly quite the character. I'm very jealous of your little Oz, he is just an absolutely beautiful Frenchie! I have always wanted a red pied little boy.. but can't decide if our next will be a black masked red fawn, red pied, or brindle!! I'm glad that Oz is feeling better, that's for sure!
Sorry to hear that Oz is not feeling well. For Louie, it did not happen right away, it happened after a few weeks of him being on the food. Same thing happened when we tried him on the Orijen, we found that he can never have the higher protein food by itself, it has to be mixed with something with lower protein, or not used at all, otherwise it will upset his stomach, and especially my Boston's, she has a very very sensitive digestive system. We use foods with a lower meat content, like Natural Balance and California Natural, and then supplement their diets with addition meat, like with 95% meat canned food. Not saying that the same thing is going on with Oz, but it's a possibility. I would put him on a bland diet to help settle his stomach, I use cooked rice and boiled chicken, or boiled lean ground beef and boiled and mashed potato. Fast him for the rest of the day, and then begin with the bland diet until he is feeling better, and then slowly re-introduce kibble to his diet and start weaning him off the bland diet. That is what has always worked for us when we have any upset tummies with any of our dogs.
