Princeton, a lil cream boy He was born 9/10/2008 and I got him from Hickory NC drove all the way there b/c I didnt want him to have to fly. He is a sweetheart and loves to cuddle
I have no idea! I've never tried to put him in water any deeper than to take a bath. I've heard they can't swim so I never gave it a shot. He doesn't seem to like any ground that isn't, hard, warm, and flat! lol Today I took him out in the snow and he got that look like he wanted to play, so I took his leash off and he ran straight for the door and waited for me to let him back in!!
Oh yeah girl and they're adorable!! I want one! They're just a little bit bigger than your frenchie will get. About 30lbs or so. I was telling Trish I believe I read somewhere that they have less health problems than the standard size too. By the way, come to the bank with Nick sometime and bring that baby so I can see him!!
He's quite the little chunkaroo then isn't he! Louie is 2 years old and he's 23 lbs. He's a solid little chunk of muscle though. =]
If you had to make the choice to get another English or another Frenchie, which do you think you would get? The hubby and I are having the hardest time deciding on what we want.. we love Louie and often dream think about adding a 2nd Frenchie to our family but.. we've always dreamed about having an English but have been put off by what people say.. we've heard that its much more common for English's to have really bad health problems, and skin issues.. I know its common with French Bulldogs too, but Louie came from a very reputable breeder and we've had no issues with him what-so-ever. Your English Bullie is just so gorgeous.. I'm in complete awe over him.. how much does he weigh, and how old is he?? Is he pretty active or more laid back.. I've seen some EB's get up to around 80 lbs. and that's just too much dog for me! I wouldn't mind one as long as it was around 55 lbs or so though.
2 dogs and too many damn cats!! Most of our cats are "special needs" animals though and they're older so it makes it hard to find homes for them. I have a tiny cat that's about 7 yrs old, but the size of a 6 month old and she's deaf. There's one that can only have diet food because the vet said she's likely to become diabetic if not. Some have skin problems. One has balance problems and he's mostly blind in one eye. One's got emotional issues and occasionally licks spots on his stomach raw. He's also got a problem with the litter box. Ugh. Believe it or not, he'll use puppy training pads.
We've got our hands full! I need to find some patient homes for a few of them because It's really getting to be more than I can handle financially. :( I love them all but... I can only do so much. AH, so anyway, to make a long sob story short, LOTS!!! I also have a fish tank and a turtle. lol
same with me I never saw one in person either. Frenchies are def the little big dog lol they still have the good quailties of a big dog but easy to pick up!
I got here actually from a lady near Baltimore, she doesn't breed very often, I just got lucky when the time I was looking. I wanted a fawn and white one, but I feel in love when I saw her. I was also looking in VA they had a few there. What made you decide to get a Frenchie?
