Hi Jen, thanks for your comments, Gordie is ADORABLE!!!! You have my dream combination of a Frenchie and Bull Mastiffs!!! They look so precious together!! How do you ever leave the house with those babies at home?!!

I sought loads of advice from Brulee's breeder, and have great faith in my vet who said to wait till about 7 months before having the procedure done so that his muscle and form would develop as much as possible, but he has just started marking (outside), and lifting his leg when he wees, and has run off a couple of times when he is out in the garden. I live in the countryside and he sees no danger in running off into fields as it's a wonderful game for him. I was so torn as to whether or not to breed from him, but I have to put his safety first I think. It's such a hard decision to make!!! If I am going to do it then it feels like the right time, but people make it very confusing with their battle to save his manhood! Thanks again for your advice, I'm really grateful for advice from a fellow Frenchie fan, we're a breed in ourselves! :)

Thanks for checking on him. He was better this morning. Last night he was very restless but I think we are on the downside. If I can get passed all the allergy issues we will both be doing good. Your baby is adorable.

Hey Jen. Hope all is well with you and the fam! I added a couple more pictures last night on my page of Frankie. He is 16 weeks now and 12lbs! He is growing into his ears now I think :) That melon of his is getting bigger too! How is Gordie doing? Any updates on your guy? I am taking Frankie up to the lake this weekend. Lots of people an dogs up there. I can't wait for him to see the lake. No swimming though for this guy :) Let's see... We have been in puppy classes now for 2 wks. He is doing very well. We are using a clicker in class. Do you use a clicker or have you ever?

We had a little bit of a scare this weekend at the dog park. Frankie was wrestling around with a big pit bull mix. One thing I have learned about Frankie is that he is totally fearless. He will run and play with any size dog. And usually dominates all of the puppies in pur puppy class. Anyway, the wrestling started to get too rough for my little guy - but of course Frankie was not going to give up with this pit bull. As I was trying to break them. I picked up Frankie. As soon as I did that the pit bull went for Frankie's neck!! I instantly grabbed the pit's mouth to release Frankie. The owner stepped in quickly and got a hold of their dog. Frankie got a little bit of a bruise on his neck, I ended up with the bite on my finger - just a little puncture wound. Right after that happened I was shaking for a good 20 minutes. It was the worst feeling in the world. I thought the very worst at that moment!! My heart is beating faster just think about that moment.

Take care and talk soon. Hope to see new pictures soon of your crew soon :) Michelle

Hi Jen. How have you been? How is Gordie doing? Getting bigger? :) Frankie sure is! His neck is starting to bulk up more. I bought him his second collar already..... Grew out of the puppy size. We also picked up a harness for him. What are your thoughts on puppy classes? Did you take Gordie to any or are you planning on taking him? I am not sure if I need to go that route with Frankie. We have taught him to sit, come, fetch, almost has the walking down. But he can also get the dog socializing with the classes. Any tips on dominance? How did you become the alpha with your dogs? Any ideas you can share with me? I added new pics on my page as well. Take care. Michelle

Hi Jen! Everything with Frankie is going very well. Everyday is different with him. He sure knows how to keep me on my toes. He is 11wks old now and is already 7lbs. The only thing I can't get him to grasps is the nipping of the feet. He is always all over my feet when I walk. I posted some new pictures on my page that were taken this weekend on my page. How is Gord doing? How much does he weight now? Talk to you soon. Take care.

Hi Jen. Things are still amazing as ever with Frankie. I am having so much fun with him! Although, I have him set up in the kitchen. In the kitchen is his crate, pee pad, and water bowl. He has been very good inside his crate; he usually is happy with a kong/bone in there with him and he eventually falls asleep. I close the door after he goes in and it's been a breeze. When I leave him alone/or ignore him in the kitchen with him free to whatever in the kitchen - he starts to chew the outside of his crate periodically. He has all of his chewtoys and a cold marrow bone in with him. Should I try to prevent this? I am only concerned because if he chews and chews away at it he may start to break little pieces of plastic off and swallow it. Any suggestions? Thank you for your help!
