So it hasn't been much of a vacation this year. Timing for everything has been off, but we managed to get a few hours away from the hospital and on our boat to try to salvage just a few hours of our vacation anyway. What beautiful weather we've had here in VA both yesterday & today! Even better that I was able to sit outside and enjoy it with the poochies. Since I've been on a medical leave of absence since Dolce arrived home and unable to drive, my co-workers have only heard about her. Dolce has only been home for a few weeks and she's mastering the whole potty training issue like a champ! While I definitely can't say that being home with a broken back and fractured tailbone has been a blessing, ok, I will say it's been a blessing. It's allowed me to have extra help with all of the furkids/human ones too that I normally wouldn't have...thus, Dolce is well on her way to becoming house broken in a whopping few weeks since she's been home. Today, Benjamin (my youngest son) & I visited our new little Frenchie girl at the breeders. She's so stinkin' cute I just can't wait to bring her home and introduce her to Emmy and Max (our Boxer). Iris, the breeder, has told us that Pookie (her unofficial name 'cause I can't decide on one) she is the one to start all of the ruckus with her littermates.
