Licking Paws~
Hi, I'm new to this blog and need some help with our little Vardon (17 mos.). He won't stop licking his paws; they are raw! I took him to the vet who prescribed antibiotics and steroids for the redness and swelling. Vardon now dons a cone on his head (and what a little goof he is in it!) to prevent further gnawing/licking his paws. It seems we're treating symptoms, though, and haven't gotten to the real cause.
