Hip/leg popping

I'm not so sure... It could be just a trot or gallop gait that has her butt bouncing like a rabbit from the rear view. She only looks bouncey when she's going really fast through the open grass/yard.

Hip/leg popping

Another question for comparison... When she's running really fast off-leash, she looks like a bunny. People comment and think it's cute. I thought that this was just a typical look for a Frenchie p...

Hip/leg popping

I don't have a written guarantee. She had said that she would provide one when I deposited on her, but then I didn't insist or get it when I picked her up. This breeder was younger and I'm sure doe...

Hip/leg popping

The movement/click/pop is in the thigh area it seems, and lower than the hip. This is so upsetting to me. I cannot afford surgery, and on an $1800 puppy! (I just spent $5,000 in January on my cocke...

She's now 7 months old and I started noticing a popping/clicking in her right hind leg at times. I can feel it. Anyone else encounter this? Could this be hip dysplasia?it's only the right side. Also, at this puppy stage, should I be avoiding the d...

My Frenchie just keeps getting sweeter and cuter!! Since I've started letting her in/on the bed (ooops!), she will now cuddle and lay under the covers with her head on the pillow. She sleeps and snores away like this! (I think she can finally be t...

I just think this is cute and funny, and wondered if anyone else's Frenchies do this. When I let her out of the crate, particularly in the mornings, she has this routine where she has to stretch out her back legs first when walking around and then...

My Frenchie, Giselle aka Gigi, is 5 months old and I love her! I wondered if anyone has seen markings/coloring like this on a Frenchie before? I get more comments about it on the street!!! I haven't been able to find any Frenchie photos with this ...

Hi Ashley, that's probably a good idea, at least stay away until she heals. Sometimes they just need to rest. That can be easier said than done with an active little Frenchie. Isabella had a limpiming episode when she was younger but it did clear up after a few days. Vet bills are not fun that is for sure, these little guys can get very expensive. Good luck with little Gigi

Hi Ashley, so sorry to read that Gigi is having a problem with her leg. I hope she will be OK, maybe it will only be a pulled muscle or something that will heal easily on it's own. Hope your Vet has good news for you. Hugs and kisses to Gigi from Tallulah, Isabella and Francesca

Hi Ashley, Wilbur is adorable when he,s sleeping lol. Gigi is gorgeous, never seen a frenchie that colour before. I have always admired that colour but never seen one in the uk. x

We were pretty lucky with housebreaking, they were well started when we got them. We just take them out all the time, so I would say by six months they were pretty good although we just had a poo poo accident the other day. The first one in months. My husband didn't take him back out in the morning after breakfast. My Bulldog was very hard, it took five months but he has been perfect for many, many years.
I know where Mansfield is, that is funny because my dogs came from a breeder in western Ohio, close to Indiana, lol!
