Aphasia's Page

My name is Aphasia. I am 4 1/2 years old. I used to excel at sprinting and squirrel chasing until my back gave out. I had major back surgery in August and went to Rehab for a bit. I enjoyed swimming (well not really), boogie boarding in the pool, and walking on the treadmill as part of my at home therapy. I had just started to get the hang of kayaking with mom when my back legs started to give out. I got locked down in the cage again for a few months and had many tests but so far I am a mystery. So far its been over 2 months since my last bout of "jelly legs". I have been drug free now for 2 weeks! Woo hoo! My mom still walks me most of the time because the electric fence is broken and I run over to grandma's at any chance I get. I have recently resumed my lizard hunting. I want to go back to squirreling but my mom won't let me. I am finally able to control my pooping a bit more now that I am on a high fiber diet food. I still poop in the house daily - but at least now its in front of the back door - unless I am mad.
