THANK YOU!!! I called 14 vets up there!!! The only vets that have worked with Frenchies were too far away, Just in case of an emergency I need a vet close!! Thank You for your help!!

dorian, what is your zip code in redfield? i know a lot of frenchie owners and breeders in ny. perhaps one is close to your area. also, don't panic doll! you can use a vet that is close to you until you are able to find one that is familiar with brachycephalic dogs. when i first moved to nh, i moved to a very rural location. my vet (whom i love) had never worked on a frenchie. this is a vet that i watch my neighbors walking their cow up the road in front of my house with a switch to get him to the vet. my vet is less than a mile away.

he even performed spay surgery on my little diva. i made sure to bring him in the anesthesia protocol for frenchies written by lori hunt dvm. i trust him with all my dogs lives. of course if it was something that needed specialized treatment...i would bring them to boston, ma. or a specialty clinic.
