Unusual coloring/markings

My Frenchie, Giselle aka Gigi, is 5 months old and I love her! I wondered if anyone has seen markings/coloring like this on a Frenchie before? I get more comments about it on the street!!! I haven't been able to find any Frenchie photos with this black outlining around the fawn. Her mom was a black brindle, and the dad a black-masked fawn.

That is the most interesting color I have seen yet. My girls have some of that around the edges of their legs and chest. Our mom was red with black mask and dad was pied red (with blue eyes). I have noticed that some of the red is becoming more fawn around the edges with dark hair lining it. I guess I will wait and see what I get over time. Personally I think your Gigi is adorable, and unique!

Gigi is so cute with beautiful coloring. My 2 Frenchie's father has those markings, both my girls do not. They have the same father and different mothers. They are white (Isabella 1 yr old) and black and white (Francesca 11 wks old, although her face is totally black which is kind of different). They are so much fun to watch. I love taking care of them along with my 4 yr old English Bulldog Tallulah.

I love your dogs, Frances! Was just enjoying your photos! (All these little Frenchie beasts are so darn cute!!)
Aside from the shedding (oy vey!), they have got to be the perfect breed! Well, and I've not yet encountered any health issues... I am on the lookout for the allergies.

Thanks for your comments Ashley. I am really enjoying this site. It's so nice to have a place to share Frenchie stories and pictures. People who don't have Frenchies sometimes don't understand our love of these crazzy little dogs. You are so right about the shedding, that I could do without. I'll be looking forward to seeing more pictures of Gigi. Enjoy
