I'm curious. Does anyone else's dog start running through the house at breakneck speed, for no reason at all, then stops, looks around and plops down? I can't imagine that Lexi is the only one but... When she does this, the whole family just stops and watches her. She'll go around and around, from room to room, same pattern, five to ten times and then stops. It's funny because when she stops, she looks at us as if to say "what, what are you looking at?".
Please tell me others are doing this. Otherwise, I'm going to have to call a priest for an exorcism.

Ah, the Frenchie 500's!!!! yup, my Dari does them... not so often now that she is a little over 9 years old..but she does and my 2 cats even join in...
All of a sudden, she BOLTS up and charges around.. thru the livingroom into the bedroom and then back again...up on the couch and down..Watch out if you are in the way...
On occasion, Dari has run over the cats... they are like "what the heck"?? then everyone just goes to sleep...

haha! The frenchie 500 is right! Our Doc gets airtime running and leaping with his ears pinned to his head and the biggest smile on his face..lol Our heeler sometimes can't help herself and joins in..then we have 2 crazies tearing around! What an appreciation of life our dogs have!

LOL... It is really too funny to watch! Sometimes she'll start running and my kids will jump up on the couch to watch her. It worries me that she might injure her back. Especially since she started having problems two weeks ago (IVDD). On the one hand, I don't want her to hurt her back but, on the other hand, if she has to live her life sitting in a cage, is it worth living?

By the way, I've had other dogs in the past and, although I love all animals, no other has had the effect on me that this little monster has. She has me wrapped around her finger and she knows it!

Its called "the ZOOMIES"! Lola usually does this when she is trying to get the kitty to play with her or she is really excited. She will peel out, slip and slide like a wild woman! It totally cracks us up!

Yep, Miss Lovey does it too! LOL Tootsie, the RT, will take off & Lovey falls right in behind her and heaven help you if you're in her way! LOL

Abby does this when she gets excited... full speed up and down the hall... in and out of the bedroom... and my favorite, laps around the coffee table... she takes corners like she's on rails! LOL!! Snorting the whole way, of course.

Haha... lol! Thanks for posting on our site about paw licking. As for the possessed running you described, Vardon does this out in our yard. He just tears around in huge circles in the same pattern, give us the same "what? what are you looking at" expression, plops down on the deck and lounges. It's super funny and good entertainment value, but I'm not concerned.
