Huck sat on me again!

I was wondering if anyone elses Frenchies sit, or attempt to sit, upon other dogs in the family... ;-) We have two 11 month old males, who are half brothers, and the elder of the two always tries to sit on his little brother, preferably on his head! I know this is probably some sort of dominance issue, but we can't help laughing hysterically as Finn's little face disappears beneath Huck's round behind! Does anyone else out there see these antics in their Frenchies?

That's so funny! I keep trying to catch a picture at just the right moment, but Finn wiggles his way out before I can get my stuff together. ;-)

OMG! Yes, my Marcus used to always try to sit on the cat. It was always when they are playing - and the cat usually seemed to be getting the upper hand, so Marcus would just sits on his head (usually around his neck). I can't tell you how many times I said, "don't sit on the cat". But now, he doesn't do it all. I just started getting up every time he did it and moving him away from the cat. I didn't push him away or yell, just calmly moved him and stood between him and cat, then I would say "no". I took months, but now, he doesn't do it at all.

Oh my gosh! Samia's dogs are a riot. That is one of the funniest images I've ever seen... My own dogs nap in a variation of jumbled positions and all leaning on one another, but nothing like sitting on another dog's head. That's hilarious!

trish is right...my yankee (as is evidenced by the pix trish posted) does it all the time. imo it is not an alph posture. with yankee it is quite the opposite. he is a definite omega dog. as a matter of fact he constantly needs his penis touching something. if my legs are crossed, he likes to stand over my dangling foot (or anyone's for that matter) so that his penis is touching. he also leans in and wants to be touching someone when he is sitting or standing.

tatiana, my poor hannah (the bullie in the picture) was recently diagnosed with bladder cancer and she puts up with this abuse from yankee on a regular basis. she is 9 years old and has mothered many puppies and dogs that have come through this house. everyone that see's yankee's antics just about falls out laughing.

Yup, I have had the privilege of seeing this in person.. Samia's menagerie.. Hannah, the big girl as she is affectionately known.. is the most tolerant, loving dog...it is hard not to want to love on her all the time...

My Louie always tries to sit on my boyfriend's face when he's lying down. I wasn't sure if that was common. My BF thinks it a dominance thing. :)

Yes!!!Poppy sits on Pi'mon all the time.It doesn't matter if Pi'mon is sleeping,she'll go and sit on him any kinda way that she can.Or she'll lay across him and even sit on his head.Crazy huh:)
