My Frenchie just keeps getting sweeter and cuter!! Since I've started letting her in/on the bed (ooops!), she will now cuddle and lay under the covers with her head on the pillow. She sleeps and snores away like this! (I think she can finally be trusted not to pee ON the bed! She was doing this when younger.) Anyone else got a cuddler?

I've only given her restricted access to the bed... as my boyfriend is not up for having her sleep with us all night! But when I'm not with him during the week... she's gotten about 1-2 hours at night and then this morning it was another hour or so! Uh-oh! I'm worried that she will eventually not want to go into her crate for the night. I loooove their snoring- it is so soothing to me.

My English Bulldog is such a sweet teddybear. Before I got my new puppy, Tallulah and Isabella both liked to cuddle on the couch with me and each other. I was a little nervous bringing in a new puppy now 11 wks old into the mix. I didn't want to ruin our cuddle sessions. The puppy now named Francesca is such a wonderful addition, she just naturally fit in. Now I have 3 cuddle bugs to love and enjoy. I may need a bigger couch. Life is good when you have bulldogs, both French and English.

I have 3 wonderful cuddlers...our Bullmastiffs have been sleeping with us since they were babies and my boy is 8 1/2 yrs old and my female almost 8yrs...they sleep with us every night. So when we got our sweet frenchie boy, who is now 9 months old there was no question of where he would be sleeping :) Now that he is bigger I don't have to worry as much about the bullies lying on him. They are all cuddlers as even when I am watching TV on the couch they are cuddled up with me.

Oh yeah - all 3 dogs sleep with us in bed! Our Boston has to get under the covers, she will keep pawing at the covers and making faces at you until you lift up the covers for her to go underneath them. Louie likes to curl up inbetween your legs and Kirby usually sleeps sprawled out ontop of someone or at the end of the bed.. he moves a lot when he sleeps though, he switches positions so he'll end up being several different places during the night ont he bed. Kirby used to sleep in his crate because he would pee in the bed when he was younger, and definitely couldn't have that happening, yuck! But now he's totally trustworthy. All of mine LOVE to snuggle up with you in bed or on the couch, that's for sure.

D'Artagnan is definitely a cuddler. He'll end up crawling onto my lap when we're watching TV or when I'm reading. D sleeps in our bed too. No far, no accidents (knock on wood!). He likes to be held when we're falling asleep, but when I wake up, I find him at the foot of our bed :) D acts like he's tough, but he's a lover for sure.

Abby has her own bed right next to ours, on my side by my bedside table. She sleeps there on a typical basis but ends up in bed with us at some point each night (either I'll get up and put her in bed with me, or I'll feel her eyeballs peeking over the side of the bed staring at me and wake up). She loves being right between our heads and is usually either glued to me or my husband... and when my husband works at night, she get to sleep all night with me. It hasn't spoiled her, either... she always goes straight to her bed and curls up. She's a snuggle bunny on the sofa, too. She needs to be touching one of us at all times. She likes to get hugs... such a sweet breed.

That Abby is a cutie!! I've noticed her before! Can anyone's jump up on their bed? I don't know if and when she'll be able to! My bed is higher, at least 3 feet tall. She is just now getting onto the couch and chair. She still will not go up these 4 steps of my building's entrance, but goes up all other steps. I've never had her climb a flight of stairs yet.

Our 6 month old Frenchie can jump up on all of the furniture, but can't jump up high enough to get on the bed. Our 3 year old Frenchie can jump high enough to get up on our bed though, and it sits up pretty high. I don't encourage it though, as I don't want him to hurt his back jumping up and down so high. I try and pick him up as much as I can, but sometimes he beats me to it and jumps up on it before I have the chance to pick him up. He has pulled a muscle a few times and had to be on an anti-inflammatory and crate rest, so that's why I don't like him to jump a whole lot. My Boston is quite the athlete, and I don't think there is anything too high for her to jump up on.. and there is no catching her before she jumps up and down off something to pick her up and set her down, she's just way too quick! We're thinking of investing in some doggy stairs so that Louie and Kirby can get on the bed themselves more easily and safer.

Thanks... she's a stinker... and the ruler of the house! Abby has only ever made it on to our bed during one of her "let's see how fast I can make it from one end of the house to the other" fits. It sit very high and the fact that she did it once is amazing. We put her up on it and the couch, eventhough she CAN get on it herself. She goes up and down the 4 steps to our house with no problem... and she can go up the steps from the basement to the ground floor, but I'd rather carry her, as her short legs don't make it an easy task... and since the steps are wood and open, I won't let her come down them... I carry her... just to be safe... if they were carpet, it would be different. But we were encouraged by our breeder to carry... put up and put down... just to help her in the future. As Trish said... they can over-do it... Abby did pull her back leg not long after we got her and had a limp and was on pain meds for a couple days... but all was well after that. We've also considered doggy stairs...

Yes our Clarice sleeps right under my arm all night long. She likes to rest her head on my cheek
and snore it is so funny to be woken up by a frenchie snore. I also have a male pug that
sleeps on my husbands head. We cant sleep unless there is snoring in the room.
Clarice is the biggest cuddle bug of the bunch always on my lap or hubbies and she almost
thinks that we should always carry her i am sure.

Lovey is certainly a cuddler, as close as she can get suits her just fine! She's not been on the bed, it's pretty high and I don't want to take the chance of her trying to get off in the middle of the night, although I do think I'd feel her moving around, I'm usually sleep pretty lightly. She loves her crate and round bed in the kitchen and runs there as soon as I let her in at night. I can her her snoring from there!
