Born 12/9/2006, Mater is shy of 2 years, AKC-registered (though originally imported), neutered, up-to-date on all vaccinations, and pronounced to be a perfectly healthy bouncing boy by a veterinarian that examined him last Friday (8/29/2008). He's got a floppy left ear - probably the result of an accident when he was a puppy - but it stands erect when he's alert and flops back down when he's totally relaxed, which is pretty much most of the time. He resided in the company of a family with two female Boston Terriers and was very submissive around his elders, but he proved to be too rambunctious and boisterous around a 5-year-old child. He's presently being fostered in South Florida in the company of 4 Frenchies and having a smashing good time, but we'd love to find him his perfect forever home where he'll be pampered and adored to spread the froggie love that abounds. He gets along terrific with dogs, people and children, but we don't know how he'd fare around cats since he's never been around them. For everyone's sake, we hope to place him in a feline-free home where there are no children under the age of 13.
UPDATE: 9/13/2008 - Mater was adopted yesterday and has gone to live on a 10-acre Florida farm with a lovely lady that has a teenaged son and a rescued Greyhound. Seems he's found his perfect forever :)
